Working on a house in Lebanon, replacing a couple of windows and i wonder if i slipped into the lobby of headquarters and borrowed a kapex UG stand for the day if they would miss it?  I could leave a note like, took it out for a walk be back later  [big grin].  When i get off at the exit the truck pulls hard to the left is very hard to make a right turn.  Maybe there's a class tomorrow and i can slip in for lunch, i don't eat much  ;D . Just kidding , first time i drove in the town of Lebanon though. There are alot of nice homes there with some character. Working in the Country Club on the golf course, nice place.

Yeah, that is about the nicest area of that town.  There are some beautiful older, well maintained houses in that neighborhood.

All I can say is that Festool's HQ is state of the art.  When I walk up to the door, the locks activate, the lights turn off, and the blinds lower.

Was it something I said? [big grin]

No, but Minnie gets tired of cleaning up after you drool on everything in the lobby, Peter...

Back at the Country Club agin, this time doing a small addition and bath remodel. Would be nice to stop at headquarters and lust over the the products coming out but then I would have to leave broken hearted for something I can't afford right now. Got a new big van to have more room for tools  Now I have to work harder so I can buy more tools that makes life easier. (Somehow that doesn't sound right) It has been nice having the room to cut inside the van. When I'm done at the end of the day just roll up the cord shut the doors and drive away.

08 Dodge Sprinter long wheel base and tall roof. I don't have any good pictures because I haven't finished my setup. It's a working progress. I thought I knew how I wanted to set it up but after working in it awhile I need to see how to  best use the space. Will be happy to show more pics when done.

UNEXPLAINED EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION!!

Travelling west to Champaign, IL, from Dayton, OH, my GPS sent me up route 65 as I approached Indianapolis. I was a bit confused by this, but figured It would eventually get me to Champaign, even though it seemed that heading to Chicago wasn't quite right. Then, things on the road started to look familiar, and the name Lebanon kept appearing on road signs. The GPS got me off at route 32, heading west, and I was compelled (subconsciously) to make a left turn into an Industrial Park. My wife was a little concerned that I had departed from the route provided by the GPS, but, I just can't nonchalantly drive past Festool Headquarters.

After dropping off some of my chocolate stash, and having a nice visit with Brian S and his class, my wife and I continued on our journey to Champaign. The unexpected operation of my GPS is still unexplained, but, like the Tardis, it doesn't always take me where I want to go, yet it always takes me where I need to go.

I have been sworn to secrecy. Remember, however: chocolate can work wonders.
