...we will see.
Took the morning to tweak the workshop, before starting next project.
Timber storage cart, thanks to someone else's design and cut list. Need to tip him in his page.
Very quick and crudely done mft cart, more shelves to install for systainers.
Dust deputy for Kapex.
Gradually getting more organised and it's making a difference, more productive and less stressed about cleanliness.
Oh I forgot my rubbish issues! I won't go into the cost of up and over bins contracts and what you can or cannot put in them. So I opted for a two yard skip on a trolley that I can move about when required, it's working really well and pleased that I came up with this solution.

Built as per the plans

helpful pictures - thank you!
Question # 1: what is the White surface material on your MFT like table? - looks like plastic (polyethylene?) .
Question # 2: how does the ONEIDA cyclone work for you? - any unmet expectations?

Nice work.

Where'd you get that bucket for your Dust Deputy?  Been looking for one about that size...

Hi Klemm may just be the picture, my mft like table is just birch ply. Held up very well, due a re cover soon, going to put 6mm mdf straight on top. Ply catches to much stuff as it gets splintered.
Dust depty so far so good. Only just started using today, seem like no loss of suction at all, if not more! But it might be because I changed the midi bag out. I'll keep an eye on it.

Bucket from eBay, about a tener

I don't know how things come in the UK but my dust deputy sits on a 4.5 gallon drywall compound bucket (that was empty and cleaned first).  A circle of 3/4 plywood on the lid reinforces it for DD installation.

Will the rolling cart take full sheets?  Where did you get the plans?  I need to do something in that end of the shop.  I tried standing sheet goods on end to save space but they bow significantly.  A cart like that would block a window but maybe that's what I should do.  I also have to get more disciplined about how much scrap I keep.  Maybe the rule should be I can keep what will fit on the cart and everything else goes to the dump.  (I also have a decent wall rack for hardwood lumber).

Very nice work. That was a very productive morning, little jobs like this save so much time in the long run, you end up wondering why you never did it years ago!
Don't get me started on waste disposal. Down here skip company's are getting every bit as fussy as the bin company

I'm fortunate that there is a waste station about 8 miles from my house and they take almost anything (except electronics).  I've given them busted bricks and bits of mortar.  No complaint.  All kinds of wood debris.  I'll probably make a run there tomorrow with some homosote and small wood bits.  I just don't like taking the time is all.

I have built this cart as well. Love it. Make sure you use good casters on it as it is able to hold a lot of weight. Here's the plans and cut list.https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Byv0IjzK8MhvbTN4QjlfcExmSjg/preview?pli=1
