Okay so Festool has had a lot slagging off lately so today I did quick video today to try to get a little balance back. There's always the other side of the coin.... I think the RO90 is fantastic. The power to weight ration is amazing and it great to be able to use it vertically all day long. Add in the excellent Granat paper, the ctl 26 and the delta function and it's a killer combo. I was using Granat 40, pretty aggressive and could probably have used a much finer grit but that would a have been boring! So credit where it's due, it could be the best sander in the world....World's best sander!!

"World's best stripper" might have been a more attention-getting title.  [big grin]

Sweet idea on the pad modification!

worlds fastest stripper. like the cut down pad I was wondering how you were going to tackle that

I gotta change the title guys! Yeah the cut down pad works really well .I initially tried the Multimaster - complete waste of time....

World best sander with worlds worst finish, because I have never seen a finish which was that easy to remove.

I'd like to see how a pressure washer would do on that. I'd think it'd strip it off easier, but then you'd have to let it dry for a few days.

Nice video, definitely looks like a handy tool.

I agree it's mostly pretty easy to shift apart from under the eaves. I did expect it to take far longer. Makes a good video though!

Someone already had a go you can just see at the end of the video bottom right hand corner. Not sure it would be easier though.

Cool - I would have resorted to the LS .. I suppose the delta mode can be adapted to a few things if your use common sense.

Nice one [wink]

At least no worries about the pressure penetrating through or damaging the wood.
