Would love a Kapex but what about the Jet SCMS?

I would like a new SCMS and at $1300, the Kapex is simply too expensive for me at the moment.  The Jet 10" SCMS looks very interesting but I've never seen one in person.  I know Makita has just introduced their 1016 which is also very highly rated.  I've seen the Jet at Woodcraft for $459 which makes it even more attractive if it is a decent saw  Anyone have any experience with the Jet?  Or, after the Kapex, is the Makita still the way to go?
