No, it is not compatible with the CT 22/33, even with the hose garage attached. Sorry.

A further question about this accessory.
One description (http://hepa.festoolusa.com/hepa-vacuums/models/accessories/) says "Attaches to top of CT"

)says "..mount storage attaches inside of hose garage "

Are there any pictures out there showing the nozzle holder installed?  Is it in fact recessed down within the hose garage, such that a Systainer can still be mounted on top?  Or does it sit where a Systainer would normally go?

The accessory holder mounts on top of the CT, which is inside of the hose garage. In the attached photos, you can see the four screws used to secure it.

The hose can still be stored and systainers will still attach to the SysDock.

I should probably clarify... Although I haven't tried it, I suspect the 36mm hose would be a tight fit, if it would fit at all with this installed.

I really doubt it would, the D36 hose is a tight fit without this insert.
