I was about to make a sarcastic comment about 32mm woven MDF cabinet backing on another thread and it got me thinking.
I've seen very little woven wood paneling or panels that I like, most I've seen are done in approx 3 to 1 ratios to allow for the flex of the timber. How do they get the tightly woven 1 to 1 panels to look good? Steam? Wetting?
Was just thinking it's an innovative way to create a feature panel with scraps and also have the ability to weave different sizes, materials, colours, finishes, etc.
Please share thoughts and experiences [smile]
