Hi, Didn't see an intro section so on to my first post, i want some!

I'm looking for the usual suspects:

ts55
ro150

I'm in Vermont.

The question is... how much would you pay to not drive from central vt to springfield mass...

my answer, about $400

I've been looking for a Rotex 150 myself,  and it's interesting to see that as soon as you found one, you started hunting for  the 150/3...  does the Rotex not quite cut it for FINE fine finish sanding  (ar I guess cutting it too MUCH would be the more correct vernacular [tongue]  you know,  the ETS125 offers an even smaller stroke.

I just rec'd a brand new RO 90 yesterday, and I HIGHLY suggest adding one to your arsenal.

as I'm sure you're aware, there's an outbreak of TS75's on ebay this week...  I have both the 55 & 75  but if I had to choose between them, I would have to go with the 75 due to more power and the additional depth.
In case you haven't tried gang cutting sheet goods with one of these,  let me tell you, it's a huge time-saver!

Good luck finding what you're after,  and if you want to see something interesting, search Craigslist > SF Bay area, CA.  for FESTOOL
mmmm, hmmm  ::)

Honestly I haven't been able to really try out the ro150 yet. We're still framing in the house and I've only taken it out on side projects around the house etc. The key was a conversation with the guy i work with. He was talking up the 150/3 so much saying it put the fun back in sanding, hes a great builder wood worker so that was enough for me. I also realize that there is a tool for every aspect of the job and for what I'm doing on sight the 150/3 is a better fit.

But who are we kidding, anyone that signed up here wants em all!

duburban - I'm in North Bennington, VT. I have a lightly used TS55 (about 4 years old, I'd have to check) with the systainer and several blades - some new, some used - that I'm thinking of parting with in order to get the TS75. I use it mostly for cutting older doors and the additional cut depth of the 75 would be useful.

Ping me if you're still interested/looking and we'll see if we can make a deal.

For anyone else with a TS75, looking for a trade?
