Some guys have had luck surfing craigslist. The general consensus is they don't go down much in value. If you're bidding at auction, you'll pay enough that you should just spend the extra 20 bucks and buy a new one. We have lots of great dealers here with many good references. Take the plunge and start a relationship with one.

I also need to sell my ts-55, I have only used it about a handful of times, it is as good as new, I will sell it for $300 plus shipping for the everything that came with the saw, minus the guide rail, I don't want to ship the rail, and I will need it later. The only reason I am selling this saw is because when my father passed recently, I spent money for a bathroom remodel on two suits so I would look nice, and a burial plot near his, so when I pass, I could be near him, but now I don't have the money to finish the bathroom, and with four kids, and only one bath, plus my little girl is also learning to use the toilet, I need my second bath.
