The second and longer of the walnut shelves I'm building, 125" long in total:

Currently 20 clutch clamps holding it together.  on the second part of the glue up, I'll need at least 26 of them, plus 6 Revos, which will be a personal record for number of clamps used on a single assembly.

I that also takes the cake for neatest glue up!
Everything spaced nicely and at the same angle.
Sure, you could use it as a book shelf but why not just keep it as a clamp rack!!    [big grin]

Ha. I see your 26 and raise you 4 to 30. It's crazy using all your clamps.

Oooh, this could be a fun topic as a distraction for the East Coasters from the storm  [popcorn]  [big grin]

Thirty eight holding trim and decorative panel frame pieces on.  [eek]  OK, I didn't have to do them all at once but it saved doing multiple glue up sessions.

That's so pretty, it's a shame to take them off

Yeah, I thought so too, but I don't think it would've been a very useful island with the clamps in place. Maybe an art piece though  [big grin]

And, the density award goes to...?

Density award  [not worthy]

Sometimes when I have had them real close together it is hard to get enough grip with finger tips to really tighten them.

That's what I thought! I could really see it in a gallery somewhere! LOL
