Your Work VAN / TRUCK

It is unbelievable how much easier it is to stay organized with systainers. I love not having to build a shelf system to hold all different size and shaped tool boxes from other tool manufacturers. Since I don't have shelves it makes it easy to unload my van if I need to haul materials or case goods.

HOW MANY CT'S DOES ON ENEED??????????????????????

How could you do this?!?!?!?  [eek] [scared] [eek] [scared]

Thanks for your concern with the t-loc mishap and also to my defense the track on the right was placed there to balance the picture. I don't travel with any of my tracks where they are placed in the picture.

Here's mine. It's not big but it's a great size for me since I live and do most of my work in the city where parking can be quite impossible with a larger van. The rails are quite new and pretty cool since the wings slide and clamp around whatever you're carrying.

I'm thinking of building a bed slide with drawers to increase capacity for smaller hand tools, packs of screws, nails and so on.

Here's my current setup.  Well, almost.  Added a few more shelves than are in the pic to store some new boxes, and reworked a couple things to make room for the CT and TS55.  Next weekend will be spent making room for the new Kapex!

johnny5 - I'm trying to figure out your perspectives - were the first two shots from the back cargo doors?
Is the side door storage (miter and table saws) fixed in like that, or can you move them out of the way?

You are correct. First pic is left side and second is right side from the rear door.  The last pic is the side door.  The shelving in the side door is fixed.  I have found that I use the side door for access to the interior of the van very little, and the additional storage space is more important.  Plus, I'm getting old, and the back doesn't like crouching and trying to lift heaving things at the same time so having the heaviest items available to pick up while standing upright is a huge plus.  In addition, the backside of the side door storage (inside the cargo area) is great for hanging odds and ends like levels, squares, folding stands and outfeed tables etc.

I don't see a single festool. Just saying

Yeah, hadn't caught the bug yet.  That pic was about a year ago when I did the van racking.  Still a fan of the Bosch Box for cost vs efficiency, but have since been infected with the green disease.  First was the ts55 and ct midi, then the Kapex.  Soon to another midi and the carvex.  I'll get some updated pics of the current setup soon.
