Maybe it means that there are more cost effective ways to accomplish the same end result, and not everyone is willing to shell out over $1000 for a glorified dowel jig, even though I am one of those who did. [huh]
Yes, I know there are probably a whole slew of things with the Domino that you can't with dowels or other joinery methods, I'm just saying that Man built furniture and many other things long before the Domino existed, so they're not essential and you're not a sub-par woodworker if you don't have one.
