That accounting or tax advantage, if any, has got to be much larger than the costs of the trades (Festool staff admin./labour costs, tool disposal, and shipper's costs).

New arrival, new price tag.  Might be more than $100 difference.

I finally got an answer. Prepaid MasterCards expire 6 months after they’re issued.
