I just received the 1010 router as part of the refurb deal (which itself was a suspenseful event--now you dont have it , now you do kind of deal).

What accessories are good to get with this--I would like to try to do that before the mar 1 price increase

Thanks

Vijay

Buy some wood ...  [big grin]

As sarcastic as this sounds, I found I was prepared to spend lots of money on Festool tools; but found I was shy to spend money on good wood.

Hi Vijay,
I recently got the OF 1010 too and the accessories I bought were the edge guide (489427), the chip deflector (486242) and the parts for using the 1010 in a horizontal orientation.  This latter allows you to route edging applied to plywood etc flush.  It works really well and obviates the need for planing or sanding the edging, thus avoiding the danger of damaging the plywood surface.  The parts required for this operation are: Angle arm (486052); and the edging plate (486058).

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Denny

Your OF1010 is the most effective tool for drilling adjustable shelf holes in the LR32 system. So, if you decided to make adjustable shelf units you need the LR32 accessories.

Actually, the OF1010 is a very effective router. It is especially useful when guided by a rail, so you should consider those accessories. Do you already own a Festool plunge saw, such as the TS55? If so you must have the necessary guide rails. When guiding a router you will want to clamp your rails, so you will need some clamps.

Thank you all for the helpful tips.  I already have the LR 32 rail, so that will come in handy,a s well as the  clamps. I wil consider getting the  accessories that Denny mentioned.  And Mavrick I do have enough wood os that shouldnt be a problem.

There was KB-SYS kit for OF-1010. Unfortunately it discontinued now.
