So this is how it went:

Wife: "I wish my vacuum hose would reach to the top of our bookshelves"
Me: "Yeah - it's always a pain - not too safe either"
Wife: "I wish we had a longer hose."
Me: Thinking, thinking, thinking….
Wife: "Any ideas - what about that Festool Vac you have been bragging about."
Me: "Well, they do sell a 10m vac hose - could get that but it's kind of expensive."
Wife: "Just buy it - it will come in handy."
Me: "Well OK if you insist." [big grin]

Sometimes I just hate myself  [wink]

A few days later: Wife: "It cost how much!!!"  [eek] [eek]

I just sold my wife on the same package.  Don't hate myself one bit.  However, not showing her the receipt when it comes.
