After seeing so many here I thought I would share

It has to feel really good that your design and construction are so professional and timeless. I hope to achieve much the same thing when I (finally) build mine.

Thanks for sharing!

Very nice. Can we ask about that serious stack of lumber/wood in the far right of your picture? [tongue] [tongue] [tongue]

It's 12 years old?

Seth
. That's the beauty of using Teak, Seth.
12 min, 12 weeks, or 12 years old, it's always timeless... [wink]

Stacks of lumber in right of photo are mostly hardwoods from Fiji I bought from a importer going out of business .
Paid $1 aboard foot . Some timbers left over from timber frame project.
Some of it small units from local  retailer wanting up grade stock paying $2-3 per foot
And a 13"/13" /14' teak beam  paying $7 Bdft had 2 of these one became this shelving/ room div  in photo below.

Very nice, and it will be around a long long time since it's Teak. [smile]

That's very nice and a great story...

I'm sitting at a teak desk I bought when a Danish furniture company in Houston went out of business. It was a steal and weighs a ton! It has been from (I guess Denmark) to Houston to Amsterdam to Austin and is solid as a rock. The drawer slides are really slick also.

I love teak.
