1880's Frank H. Clement #2 saw bench

I picked this up in June this year with a few other things.

All of the 5 items had sat unused for about 60 years. 

I picked up a 20" jointer, Clement #2 1/2 dual spindle shaper, Clement #2 saw bench, American #2 vertical borer and a Chas G. Allen drill press.

I sold everything but the American borer and Clement #2 saw bench.

It is up and running.  All that it is left is to put a table over the counter shaft to bridge the gap between the Clement #2 and the American USB.

That is one of the most fascinating and yet scariest pieces of machinery I have ever seen.  I was transfixed by the motor and flywheel setup in the video.  You are to be thanked and congratulated for restoring such a wonderful piece of machinery.

I will say you have a great knack for restoring the history of woodworking tools and its great to see these pieces of history coming alive and doing that for which they were designed to do.

Thanks guys.  This will be my main table saw for sizing my blanks and general ripping. 

The 18" blade will let me cut about 6 1/2" of depth.

I built an outfeed table to fit over the pulleys and bridge the gap between that saw and the other one behind it.
