18V 4.2Ah Carvex battery (499849) on TI15 hybrid impact?

Could someone confirm if the 18V 4.2Ah Carvex 420 battery (499849) works on TI15 hybrid impact?

Festool Canada site says it works.... but Festool Canada rep said it won't work and the site is wrong.
Festool USA site says it won't work either.

So who has correct information?

I wanted to get the Carvex 420 cordless kit and ti15 kit and didn't want to duplicate chargers.

It seems my only way of doing it is to get a full TI15 kit, a barebones Carvex 420 and a separate 18v 4.2 battery for the carvex.

Or would a carvex run fine with 2 15v batteries?

Vlad,

You can put lower voltage batteries into a higher rated tool, but never a higher voltage battery into a lower rated tool.

So, your carvex could run on the 15 volt batteries, but the Ti15 cannot run on the 18 volt batteries.
