Just checked the mail and the 2007 catalog was there. It is 163 pages of Festools and accessories. Printed on glossy paper and all in color.

It's not all pretty pictures.
The jig saw blade chart is included in the appropriate section.

But I also enjoyed reading the personal statement from one of the Festool designers just inside the cover. If designers at most USA companies admitted such obsessive involvement with design, management would send them to therapy.

Nah, they'd just fire them!

Now, the festool-catalog-shaped void on my stack of stuff on my desk is full :) It's nice to know that after my investments... that in return I at last get a catalog :)

---funny story.
A long time ago, I purchased an INCA 2200 table saw from Garrett Wade. Subsequently I made additional purchases followed by a time of quietness (no purchase). Eventually catalogs stopped appearing in my mailbox. :-[ So I politely called (noo really, I was polite, nothing like my rants about UL), and asked where my catalog was. They said they would send me the catalog but after some period of inactivity (can't remember how long that was) they stopped sending them. To which I commented, "Hey, I bought the most expensive thing you carry, one would think that for such a purchase I would have earned the right to get the catalog for life :) Well, even though they changed focus I still get their catalogs.

I just received my copy yesterday.

Actually, some of the small things are what interest me at the moment.  I'm very curious to try the new Cristal sandpaper.  I've got a few paint-removal projects coming up, and I'd be interested in how this line of discs works with the Rotex.  On the Web site, Cristal is not listed as an accessory for the RAS 115.
