Very cool adaptation!!
For my uses, I prefer to keep my cleats a little more mobile so I can move them around on my table as needed, but the ability to cantilever like that would be quite handy, particularly in situations like yours where your work station backs up against a wall. I'd be curious to hear follow-up feedback after you've had a chance to use your cleats for awhile, any changes you'd make?
