Hi, my name is David and I am a Festool'holic. I have been an addict for 2 years now. It has been 30 days since my last purchase and I can already feel myself falling off the wagon.  ;D

Hi guys, I thought I'd say hello, I am new to the site which I am finding great for hints, tips and drooling over new Festools. After reading your threads I am glad I am not the only one with a problem [eek]

Cheers
David

[welcome] to the forum.  Don't worry, if you don't fall off the wagon on your own I'm sure someone here will can give a little shove.  [wink]

welcome david.
the trouble with the festool wagon is that it is well polished and very slipery. it only takes a small nudge and your completely off

Welcome! It can become addictive and you will suffer a severe withdrawal syndrome.
Just keep taking it regularly and my solutions is to buy items like sanding paper and other consumables to keep it coming. The RTS/DTS 400 has also a great prof point when you need o bridge  until the next big purchase comes.

Cheers
Luis

[welcome] David,

I have the same problem, just look at my avatar and read my signature. I need help, or more tools  [doh]

Dont forget    Mafell and  Protool(soon to be festool)

Just thought I would add them to your list!!!  Damage your wallet even more  [tongue]

Welcome to the Fog Alli!

You're doing your part to help the world economy.

Good job Alli.

Welcome David!  Remember, acceptance is the first step towards total obsession.  [big grin]  You're in good company.

[welcome]     30 days!!!   wow, that takes strength   ;D     i know where you are coming from as do many others on this forum, i have been drooling for quite some time now but only began purchasing festool about 1.5 months ago, and boy do you fall fast!!!

ive collected just about every clamp they make inculding the rapid and element, an MFT table with fence and rail, nick nacks such as guide rail connectors and hose deflectors, limit stops, flag stop, splinter gaurds, pieces of the lr32 set (going to attempt to modify it to work with my bosch for now) 850 planer and the new ts55r

next on the list is a collection of different rail sizes and a few sanders

sanders, now that brings me to my most addictive purchase  [embarassed]  a replacement pad for a sander i dont even own yet!!  was for sale locally and just too god of a deal to pass up      ive got it bad

glad to have you here and good luck on that wagon

John

we all want it all,but buying a part for something you don't own is pretty extreme, that monkey on your back must be a gorrila

Haha    i know its bad..  but notice i said i dont own the sander YET...  its only a matter of time  [big grin]
