32mm system for drawer boxes

Thanks everyone for the laughs and the useful info, most useful being don’t try to “optimize” anything, just go with what LR32 gives you, otherwise headaches ensue.

My wife, BTW, has one “top drawer” in the kitchen; in it goes any “tools” of mine I leave around, such as knives, tape measures, and four-in-one screwdrivers. And anything else that looks mechanical. Somehow the weight of this 3 inch-tall drawer seems not yet to have exceeded the capacity of the drawer slides. And since it’s her system, not mine, I have not yet got it into my head to go first to that drawer before buying/ordering another [whatever].

Your wife must know my wife. She has the same system one top draw in the kitchen. But my wife tells me that the draw is filling up and that I need to return my tools to the tool box. I tell her if was not for the kids using my tools there would be none in the house..

The ruler of the house tends to "put things away"' defined as removing my stuff from sight whenever it's been laying around too long, in her opinion.

Exactly where it's put away seems to be immaterial. I've found long missing items in my nightstand when they went missing in another room. She just smiles and shrugs. As a wise man once said, "Can't live with 'em, can't clobber 'em & bury the remains in the back yard..."

RMW

PS when she asks if I've seen her missing item I suggest she she check the nightstand.
