What is this for - hotel remodel?

Frank

Yes.

Ended up going with cheep luan flush doors. The cost of the custom doors caused their heart to stop.

is that a HVLP turbine or compressor powered. size of the hose makes me think hvlp.

got the 5 stage graco this summer, great tool.

i'm curious about kem aqua, would you choose it over any of the other high end water based finishes?

Fugi T-70 gun with a 1.0 nozzle/air cap set connected to a Fugi Q4 turbine, fluid is delivered to the nozzle/air cap via a 2-1/2 gallon pressure pot with the pot pressure set to 14 psi.

The stain is SW B.A.C., finish is Kem Aqua Plus BRE. KA+ is my go to finish, always my first choice, not always what I use.

Looks slick Tom. You come up with awesome ideas! Did you build the spray room in your parents building? Curious as to what you did for ventilation. In the video it looked like a saw some duct work poking in at the bottom of one of the walls.

The rotators are an adaptation from the cars restoration days.

Yes.

There are ducts connect to an air mover to exhaust the area. Placed a small fan to help move air into the area.

Very nice.  I like the idea of having them clamped so they can kept vertical, to give clear, overspray-free access to the next one.

Impressive set up.. I'm sure you will just race through the 346 doors..  How long after painting can they safely handled?

Dry to touch 1/2 hour. Pack 24 hours.

From first door off rack to last door on rack (4 racks 96 doors) 52 man hours.
