36 Ac Versatility

I recently discovered Festool. I was able to use the planex and 36 Ac vac on a small drywall job. I'm hooked. The job didn't turn out as well as I would have liked but it was all user error. I know when I get past the learning curve that will be huge asset to my business.

So I made a list of tools I would like to have to go dustless from start to finish but I'm curious about the Vac. At the cost of the 36 AC I'd like to know if it's compatible with other applications. I'd like to get the Tradesman/ Installer vac tools to go with it and also be able to use on other task and not just drywall. From Festools website it appears I can swap out the filter and put a bag on it. Then from what I've read here turn the AC off.
Any guidance on that would help. With the price of the AC I don't want to buy a separate vac any time soon although a 26 or midi does have size and weight advantages.

For corners and patches I'm looking at the ETS 150/3 and/or the DTS 400. Looks like both would be good for drywall and wood.
Any guidance on that would be appreciated as well. 

I'm also thinking of the Vecturo Oscillating tool. Cutting out drywall or plaster in an occupied space while maintaining a dustless environment seems beneficial. The blades are expensive but if they're better than the junk in the big box stores I don't mind the extra cost. Does anyone have experience cutting out drywall with this tool hooked to a vac? Does it capture a large percentage of the dust.

I'm also looking at the light and tripod.  [big grin]

The CT 26/26/48 variants differ only in the bin, the heads of them are identical (meaning: the CTM 26 AC head is identical to the CTM 36 AC head).

Hint: The bins (complete kit including everything like wheels and whatnot) are available as reasonable priced (for festool standards) spare parts, getting a 26 variant and add an additional bigger spare bin can have use cases (to use a small bin when going on site as carrying the VAC with a filled bag is unfun for the bigger ones).

The EC variants of the ETS sanders are way nicer to use, IMHO, and worth the markup.

Yes and depends, the latter meaning 'good enough' in comparison to not having extraction.

The festool accessory kit also works with the way cheaper fein multimaster.
