36mm hose end, 497700

Hello,
I just purchased the 497700 kit. Isn't there a new style tool end hose connector?
I bought it primarily to improve dust collection for my ts55.

I am not near my ts55 (upgraded to the new style dust port) to confirm the new fitting type. I would expect that the hose have the new ends.

The locking hose end is only available as a D 27 fitting and the set you list is a D 36 hose. The D 36 hose will just slide over the new fitting on your TS 55 as it would have done with the old style fitting.

You're saying they released the saw connector without the companion hose end?

No, I'm saying the locking connector is for D 27 hoses. If you had a D 27 hose with the new locking connector, it would lock into your revised TS 55 dust port. The set you've bought has a D 36 hose, so in the picture above, just slides over the revised TS 55 dust port. I'm not aware that there is a locking D 36 tool end.

While the current D36 reducer doesn't mechanically lock on to the TS dust port with a twist, it is very secure.
