Just got my OF 1400 and hooked it up to my CT36 with 27mm hose. Did not take long to clog up when I used a roman ogee bit. I guess I need to get a 36mm hose.

Yes, the D36 hose is a major improvement on the 1400. In fact that is why I bought a D36 hose years ago. It will change the DC on that tool dramatically. It takes it from sort of works / OK to really good.

I find the 35mm hose is the one I use all the time. It's a little cumbersome on sanders, but I have reduced the hose to fit on the sanders and, with the CT48 turned way down, it still works well. For the Domino, OF1400, and even the TS55, I believe it's a big improvement in dust collection.

I'm beginning to feel like Michael Corleone when he said, I try to get out but they keep pulling me back in. I know the Bosch hose is cheaper but it is not AS and I'm a static collector. I'm going to get a cleaning kit. It cost just a bit more then the hose alone but it gives me a systainer for storage and the tubes and nozzles for the CT. Thank you for the comments.

If it makes any difference, I have a 27mm Festool antistatic hose which I bought and use on my Fein vac. I've never gotten a shock from it and I have used it for sanding with my CT48. It's just easier not to have to switch out hoses since I have a boom arm on my CT.

The 27mm hose works great for my Domino XL and Domino DF500 as well as my four sanders but the 36mm hose is required to keep my Leigh Dovetail jig from clogging and it improves dust collection on my Kapex.
