Does anyone happen to know if the 3M PPS Series 2 is going to have a H/O cup that will work with Fuji?  3M lists Series 2 adapters for Fuji guns but I don’t see any H/O cups available.

Thanks

Is the series 2 a new version of the PPS system? I didnt know they came out with a new one.

I just went all-in on series 1... No wonder there was confusion regarding the measuring markings during my shopping process...

Series 2 requires new adapters for the new pressure cups, liners and lids. 3M in Canada, will exchange the adapters free of charge but you have to purchase the new cup and lids.

Cheers,
JC

Same here.  I saw v2.0, but couldn't find the H/O cups and gave up.  I suspect they may release them eventually, but for now, nada.

Whats the improvement for the Series 2 stuff? I recently bought all the Series 1 setup but havent even opened it all yet.

I'm surprised 3M doesn't offer an adapter for the Graco handheld spray guns.  [sad]

Especially as they are both Minnesota based companies.

I've held off investing in the 3M PPS wondering if it is a worthwhile enhancement.  Now maybe it's time to pull the trigger for my Fuji MM3 / T75 gun.

From everything Ive ever read or heard the Series 1 was definitely worth it, which was why I jumped on it. After doing a bit of research on this Series 2.0, it doesnt look like the parts are all available yet. Just some quick google searches didnt show any resellers selling the parts.

I reached out to 3M Customer Service and I was told that they plan to release an H/O cup but that no release date has been set.

The PPS system is definitely worth it. Swap out finishes easily with much less cleaning. Will never go back.

Has anyone heard any more here? Want to get the PPS system for my Q5 but with the 2.0 being out I’m hesitant.

I just ordered and received the 2.0 22 oz H/O cup
(https://www.rshughes.com/p/3M-850-Ml-Pressurized-Cup-26124/051131_26124/)

and the 2.0 22 oz kit

for my Q5 along with the adapter (s2c)

I plan on getting the 2.0 6 oz size also once the H/O cup is available for that size.

I plan on getting the 2.0 13.5 oz size also once the H/O cup is available for that size, which should be soon (since I have some inside information....)

I have the original system - was thinking of upgrading until I saw these prices!

I bought my Q5 late last year and held off on getting v1, knowing 2.0 was going to be coming.

I was looking at the 3M PPS 2.0 - does it work with the fuji guns?  I have the Q5 with the T70 and T75g.  I am not sure what I should be ordering.  I contacted Fuji and they told me the series 2.0 was not compatible but from your comments above it may be?

In direct reference to the T75G, Speaking with a 3m rep they have advised me that the 650ml (22oz) pressure cup for the PPS 2.0 system is part number 26124. It will officially be release in September 2019.  They did suggest I call retailers to see if they have them in stock now, but I haven’t had luck as yet. I’m in the US, not sure what the timing is elsewhere.

I have seen sites advertising the cups for sale, but I’m not familiar with the sites I’ve seen them for sale on.  I am curious to see how the price compares to these sites once it’s officially released and more widely available.
