4 MM Dominoes - How many use them and for what

I don't have one, but I am getting ready to buy one.  Today I was working on building a model railroad and was putting together the risers for the roadbed.  I am planning on building "spline" roadbed, where you cut thin strips of material and then bend them and clamp them to the desired road profile.  I thought about using the Domino and the small dominos to create the parts that either hold the splines together, or would allow me to bend and shape the roadway.  I figured that these joints would be stronger than some sort of notched deal I'd create on the tablesaw.

I like to build jewelry boxes and the 4mm size works well.

I have both the 500 and the 700 Dominos. The 500 gets 80% of the usage and the 700 gets 20%.
