What dates are the rebate valid for?
I pre-ordered a sander. If I were to purchase a CXS today. Would I be able to use the voucher against that purchase when I receive the voucher?

Basically, Should I wait until Nov 1st to purchase a CXS? Or can I order it today?

That's a good question.  It would be nice for some people to be able to buy now and get the rebate later.  However, there is the (small) risk you won't get the sander/voucher you ordered.

Go ahead and order now. Technically, the second purchase should be made after November 1, but pre-sales kind of throw that off. If you run into trouble when submitting the rebate, let me know. I'll make sure that you're taken care of.

Hey Tyler I am hoping you can answer this for me. I am contemplating ordering a CT 36 dust extractor along with my PRO 5 sander when it ships. Reading this thread makes me wonder if I would be able to use the $50 rebate on the dust extractor. Can you clear this up for me?

Thanks and remember not everyone is complaining about the good deal! Many of us that already have other sanders we use are simply happy to have the opportunity to try the Festool sanders.

Sure. CT Dust Extractors are definitely eligible, and you're fine as long as you buy it on or after the day that you buy your PRO 5. They can be part of the same purchase.

Thanks for the quick answer Tyler.

Now I just need to do some reading and be certain that the CT 36 is the best size for me. If I can ask what size is your most popular?

Why would you use the $50 on the CT36 when you can get it 10% off when purchasing with a tool - PRO5 in this case? Or can you get the 10% off and the $50 as well??

Thats what I was wondering... I bought the CT 36 with my Pro 5 at the same time to take advantage of the 10% off when buying a vac with a power tool.

That's how I was reading the rules of the offer and why I asked.

I noticed this question wasn't addressed and am curious as well - if I have Pro5 on order and purchased MFT3, got the 10% off on the MFT for buying together, can I also use the $50 voucher on the mft since they were bought same day?

That is my understanding, if the MFT is considered a tool, you should be able to use the voucher on it. The rebate website should spell this out.

I think this was addressed in another thread. The answer was, yes, you can use the voucher in combination with the package deals. And, I will confirm that the MFT3 is considered a tool, it has a serial number.

Does anyone know if the new SYSROCK is eligible for the rebate? Is it a tool? Does it have a S Nr?

[member=30505]crampedshop[/member], yes, it's a tool with a serial number and qualifies for the rebate.

How about the Syslite Uni Torch?  I've seen conflicting info (some have it as a tool, some as an accessory...even though I don't know what it would be an accessory to -- a battery?  ;D)

Also, by Festool's definition, considered a tool and would qualify.

I received two coupons with my sander. Was that a mistake or was that to make up for the looooooooong wait for it to arrive?  [eek] [eek] If it wasn't a mistake, can I use both of them? [big grin]
