Wondering if anyone can help locate part number(s) for the short (~1.5m x 50mm) hose that comes with the boom arm kit.  I would like to purchase this hose for use with my tablesaw and CT26. I have the boom arm, but would really like to have an extra hose in the event my boom arm and table saw are set up simultaneously.

Ekat lists it as a catalog item and I see no reference to it in the catalog. I do see a 3.5m x 50mm version, but would rather not buy that only to cut it.

Thx.

Just because I was checking in, here is the portion in a screenshot"

Thanks all.  I was hoping to find the 1.5m version.  I don’t want 8’ of hose. I’ll probably buy this plus two extra connectors, cut the pipe in half and end up with two 50mm hoses. Appreciate the help.

Call up Oneida Air Systems and have them sell you a 5’ (or whatever length you want) section of their 2.5” reinforced vacuum hose. It is static conductive and has a smooth inner wall so you get great air flow. The hose ends are the same size as standard Festool hose ends and are fully compatible with the Festool system.

You can buy the hose per metre, and then add the required ends. That's what is listed in the EKAT diagrams.

Festool 452896 Antistatic rotating adapter - D 50 DAG-AS (you'll need two, one for each end)
Festool 452386 Suction hose D50 antistatic - D 50 MW-AS

Problem is, you're still going to end up with either 1m or 2m as you can't buy in smaller increments that 1m...  [sad]

And then you might find that the 2.5m hose linked earlier works out cheaper, even if you chop some off.

I'm with Tom G. regarding Oneida Air, I have three steel dust deputys, their Festool version sitting on a Midi, and also about a dozen of their non conductive angle and straight connectors.

That’s really cool, I wonder if that hose would help the kapex?

Bumping this thread as I am looking for a replacement hose for the 50mm that comes with the Boom Arm Kit. Considering that Oneida Wire-Reinforced Vacuum Hose. The price is just too good to not. So for those that have gone this route, just to confirm, the fittings on that Oneida hose work with the input of a CT vac AND the vac end of a Festool hose?

I have numerous Oneida hoses and they all have the same vac ends and work with the Fein, Festool, and Metabo vacs that I use.

I bought the Oneida 50mm x 1.5m hose. It works great!  I think the secret is that the end is tapered ever so slightly, so it will not only fit a typical shop vac, but also the CTs and everything else I have tried.  The other thing I really like is the extreme flexibility. I strongly recommend this route.
