I'm hoping the power of the FOG will help me in making a new fence for my custom mft thats I,m in the process of designing.

Does any one know of a flip stop that will work in 80/20 extrusion?

Also I'm sure i have seen on here before rail dogs used in 80/20 any one any ideas on this? which dogs or size of 80/20 profile?

cheers!

I've used the flip stop that came with my MFT/3 with the 10 series extrusion. I have a 1x2x36 extrusion that I use with my Kapex. I just slide the flip stop into the 1" side and I have a couple of dogs that mount it to my MFT. It then acts as a fence for my Kapex and I can make repeatable cuts. I'll try to post a pic later.

Kreg flip stops work great with 8020 10 series.  I have on the (2) 8' 1030 extrusions as my chop saw fences.

Ok, here are a few pics for you. If you use the Festool flip stop, you will need to grind down the edges of the nut just a bit to fit the inside profile of the extrusion. No big deal, and it will still function perfectly with your MFT.

Thats great thanks guys. Im looking into both the kreg and festool options and mounting the 80/20 on rail dogs so i can easily convert between sheet cutting and hole boring or cross cutting.

Thanks for that qwas, theres some good stuff on that site including the festool flip stops!

Thanks Qwas. Ironically I ran into that link last week but saw they were discontinued so when I saw this post I was hoping they were being sold elsewhere. Too bad they aren't, they look very useful :/

Those are for sure johns dogs. Tool improvements made really great stuff and John is a great person to work with. He made a set of these for me with a custom size that i use regularly. Maybe give him shout and see if he has any over stock kicking around.
