8mm CMT bit set from Euro

Anyone ever pulled together a nice little kit from CMT for the 8mm bits? Do any dealers have access to the European Catalog they can order a nice set from? I want to say Tom B. has looked into this in the past, if so I sparking the debate again.

I would be in for a nice set of the general purpose bits if so.

It would be nice to buy CMT bits in 8mm shanks. Unfortunately none of kits linked in the post above have 8mm shanks.

Festool used to offer a fairly broad range of 8mm shank bits in the the states but they did a poor job of marketing them.
They sold sixty or more bits but only used a dozen or so images to identify them.

For example, Festool had a range of bits like the CMT bits above but only used one picture of one bit to describe them.
You had try to decipher the mouse type to figure out what the actual bit might be.

Because of the poor descriptions and the top dollar price they didn't sell well.

Another reason for poor sales was the shank/price ratio. 8mm is substantially smaller than 1/2" but the 8mm Festool bits
cost at least as much as the best quality 1/2" bits so I think a lot of people felt the Festool bits were not a good value.

Links must be bad and I'm on tappy talk so can't see them but the first link says it's available in 8mm on the italy site. And I believe the two below it as well. Maybe the links aren't resolving the country drop down at the top right of the site.

If you go to language eng and country it yiu see all the bits available in 8mm. There is actually a lot. Would love to find it how to price that out to see what kind of value they represent.

Personally I think 8mm is better than 1/2, so I wouldn't mind having a large set like this 26 piece in the first link..assuming it's not astronomically priced.
