I have some questions about the sleeved hoses and hope someone with firsthand knowledge will help, please.

From the 500276 3.5m sleeved hose/systainer spec sheets;

The new sleeved dust extractor hose diameter tapers from 32mm at the extractor end to 22mm at the tool.

1. Does the reduction on the 22mm end limit the new hose to sanding duties only?

2. Will replacement connectors be made available for both of the 22mm and 32mm ends?

3. Does a 27mm 3.5m 452878 Antistatic Hose fit in the new sleeve?

4. Does a 36mm 3.5m 452882 Antistatic Hose fit in the new sleeve?

My intention is to install either of the two larger hoses in the new sleeves for routing, sawing and mortising.  But, I suspect the sleeve diameter is too small.

It fits every tool the same as the 27mm. The hose diamter is just smaller at the end.

Yes, it was designed for sanding duty, but it will work just fine with a domino, ts saw(I prefer the 36mm for saws routers and planer)

The only caution that I would add is regarding the Long version. I think it's about 32 feet long, and I won't try one with chip producing tools unless I hear from other users that they don't run into clogs with it in that role.  If I get one, I'm only planning to use it with sanders.

I have one here. The hose end plugs have special rings in it which keep the sleeve fixed inside the plug. You wont be able to do that with a standard hose.
