Outstanding as always Tom. Really like the colors and those cross braces you’ve been doing lately.

Looks great - very crisp indeed. Are those hand-built cabinets, or commercial ones which you’ve installed? Also - are the table ends mitre-jointed? And if so, how are the mitres locked together?

All of the cabinets are designed, built and finished by my shop, we do not sell or install any commercial cabinets.

The quartz on the table---the ends are mitered then glued together in the field. Once the glue has set the seams are polished and blended in. This type of end is called a waterfall. We do not do the tops, a stone fabricator supplies and installs them. We do supply the wood tops.

That is very nice. What is the idea behind the library ladder on the wall?

The room has two areas that need the ladder, in the picture I circled the rail. There is another rail on the shelves to the left, behind the door. The room is to small to leave the ladder on the rail comfortably. Thus a "storage" rail.

I figured that it was hung up because of a space issue and it's kinda neat that it works in multiple places. I see it now, the last two pics in the first post are the same room. Oddly enough, there is virtually nothing that is obviously common to the two pics, the views are opposite.

I would, but I don’t have a passport…..

Haha - split it in packages?
Honestly, it looks smashing, and like if it’s been there from the beginning.
Very well executed.

So if you end up getting a passport, and move, the style and execution is a no brainier here too  [wink]
