So I don't show a lot of people the work it do.    But thought I would share this project that I did for a family friend (paying friend  [big grin]).

I will try to make this short and sweet.

She came over one weekend with a picture from a magazine and said     "Eric, I need you to make this happen for me."

She is now a very happy customer!

Some Before Pics.

I had to make 15 doors
I also made new drawer boxes and fronts

I painted the old boxes.  De-glossed,  Primed and painted,  2 coats,  sanded between coats.

[attachthumb=#]
She wanted some detail added.  Flat stock for the crown. The crown is 1/4" stock with a 1/2" middle and 1/4" stock on the top.  And I added 1/4" stock on the bottom of the cabinets for more detail.  And I used 1/4" stock to frame the sides of the cabinets.

And some finish pics.

I made this cabinet.  I had to move the phone line.  The old cabinet was very small.

I made the base cabinet with the open shelving on the right.   She bought new counter tops, and the installer would not warranty it if she didn't support
the counter with something.   So this is what we came up with.

The finished product.

Sorry for posting so many times.  I didn't know how many pics I could load in a post.

Nice kitchen update  [thumbs up]

Haahaa. No way I was going to post the same thing then I scrolled down and read you post!  I was thinking oh god don't wanna be rude but that is a kitchen I would rip out soon as I moved in! Glad it was only the before pictures!

Much improvement!

LOL !!!

Sorry about the confusion..... I was unclear as to how many pic I could post at one time.

Thanks SRSemenza for filling me in on the number of pics I can load.  I will not make this mistake again.

Thanks for the comments guys.  Her old kitchen was very ugly and I couldn't wait to rip those old 80' style cabinet doors out.
It was a fun project and I have to go to her moms house this weekend to do work over there.

I'm just glad all this side work is coming to me.  My Kapex is getting closer!

Very nice upgrade for your friend. I'm sure she appreciates it. Will you be using her payment for more green stuff? Thats how I spent the funds from my last paying friends project.
