A NEW FESTOOL IMPACT DRILL!

They do, but because they consider impact drivers more a "construction" tool, they are sold under the protool brand. link
I saw a brief demonstration of the 14.4V impact driver, and I noticed they are more like impact wrenches (slightly heavier and more powerfull than impact drivers of other brands). They have a special version of the centrotec chuck, that can take sockets directly, or centrotec bits with the adapter. They can be set into regular drill mode and regular driver mode with electronic clutch, but they don't have a regular keyless chuck for those drills.
I have the protool 18V hammerdrill myself, and on the tool it says it's made in Wendlingen, like the festool tools.
 
Old tread!  Lol looking on google for festool impact and this popped up!  I cnt remember starting this thread!  Makes me wonder what other threads I have started and forgot about!

well if we had an option to see threads started by our selfs that wouldnt be a problem
 
not to burst your buble (or mine for that matter for sugesting it) but if you search for your name and put a letter (ramdom if you want , nothing that will limit the search) in the word box it will show your threads started. i still think a link on the profile section would be handy
 
Came across this thread I started a few years ago!

Well Festool answered my wish for a impact drill! unfortunately not what I was looking for!  [crying] Oh well!
