Hi Everyone!
MODS: I attempted to submit this post to FestoolUSA but could not find a valid link from the FAQS and Guidelines area to do so.
While I'm fairly new to posting around here, I have been lurking for some time, so excuse me if this is not the correct forum for this post.
I would like to introduce you to a new line of MFT Accessories and tool holders that a friend and I have been designing... They are 3d printed to keep costs down, and allow us flexibility in design and manufacturing to quickly release new designs to market, and also allow for custom designs if you have a need...
The RAB Jig (Rail Alignment Blocks) is a set of two blocks with integrated dogs that allow you to quickly and very accurately set your guide rail and fence to 90 degrees, with no additional tools needed, in less than 60 seconds. About the size of a smaller smartphone when nested together, they store easily into any systainer, or even your back pocket! The jig sets your guide rail to cut precisely in between two rows of dog holes for full stock support during a cut.
They also double as stop blocks, or clamp blocks for use with the clamping elements, and assist in preventing stock lift while clamping. They also allow you to completely remove the feather keys from the profile, freeing your side rails for clamping vertically from either direction.
The Multi-Rack is a storage solution for 4 ratcheting quick clamps, AND 4 bench dogs, that slides into the side profile anywhere on the MFT. It places the dogs and the clamps below table height so they don't interfere with stock hanging over the table, and can be relocated to anywhere on the table. An additional component is in design now to allow you to relocate the Multi-Rack to a wall or other surface without being unloaded.
The Square Rack provides a storage solution within easy reach to place your guide rail square when not in use, securely storing it to the MFT side rail with it sitting below the table surface when not in use.
The Dog Kennel, similar in design to the Multi-Rack, gives you storage for up to 8 bench dogs within easy reach on the profile.
We are feverishly working to provide additional innovative storage solutions and accessories for all brands and style of tools, so stay tuned!
I'm unsure whether or not I can provide links here, so I will simply say that you can find me on Instagram and Etsy, with a soon to be released website for these fine accessories in the near future...
I invite you to check us out, and would welcome any and all comments, critiques, criticisms, or concerns. I am a firm believer that the good comments make you feel warm and fuzzy, and the bad stuff pushes you to do better!
I am attaching a few pics of the accessories for your viewing pleasure, and there are many more photos available on my IG and Etsy...
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a great day!
