Abranet max belts

I´ve been trying today some abranet max belts and I broke 2 of them when a standard bosch belt last without any problem.
Do you know any caution or something that one must have in consideration when using this?

I don't mean to be insulting, but are you sure the belts are the right way around?  The overlap should be "downstream", or facing forwards.

Abranet in general doesn't like sharp corners or metallic objects such as nailheads.  The open weave structure makes it subject to tearing on sharps.

Generally, cloth belts seem to work best with belt sanders.  The swarf is carried backwards by the belt's grit to be extracted as the belt turns upwards around the drive roller. 

Mesh isn't really advantageous with this form of dust extraction.  It's predicated to a multi-hole backing platen for enhanced extraction.

Cloth belts are hard-wearing & generally long-lasting, plus come in an expandeded range of grits, from an extreme 16G to fine 400G+.  Cloth belts are specifically designed for belt sanding, whereas mesh works best with Orbitals & Randos.

You can use an old length of PVC water pipe applied to the running front roller to help dislodge ingrained swarf to further extend belt life.

Thanks for the advises.
The belt direction does not matter from what I could find in the net as there is not overlap but glued. There are no direction arrows in the abranet.
But the wood was very rough and there was some little nails in it so that must be the problem
