definetly going to pull out some spare worktop and make a clamp table for general construction so that i can leave the mft for good stuff

XL makes a big hole in the minimum thickness of 20mm stock. I needed to insert a pin in 16mm. made for this adapter.

For those that don't yet have a Domino, this is what happens after you get a Domino and really get to understand how this tool functions, you start thinking like a Domino and the applications you can come up with are endless it seems.  Such a wonderful tool!  [smile]

It's a good idea, but I wonder whether it puts too much stress on the cutter because it is only cutting wood on one side? Maybe it would be better to clamp a wooden block of the same thickness as your jig to the wood that is being mortised, and cut a regular mortise?
