Accurate Table Saws UK

It come down to accuracy = price to some degree.  If accuracy is what you want then you can not go wrong with a Mafell erika.

I've been after a table saw for ages now, but one that is super accurate.  The Mafell Erika looks great but at over £2k it's a lot of money.  I'd love to have an old school cast iron table saw but my circumstances are such that I need a portable table saw.  It seems in the UK our choice is pretty limited, Dewalt, Metabo, Makita, Bosch, Axminster is pretty much the only choice for top picks but how accurate are they?

The tracksaw and mitre saw are great; there are some circumstances when a table saw is simply a better option.

I've done a ton of research and I'm now at a stage where I'd like some real life reviews of these products.  The above makes might be great and accurate, I've just never used them before and don't know anybody who has one to try.

I wish the portable (ish) Sawstop was available in the UK.

Thank you

If I were you I would find an old "Inca" table saw. If you can't find one of those then I would get a mafell 80, basic kit. If you later find you need the add-ons then get them at that time. Inca tools, now defunct, are the most precise mobile, small scale wood working machines ever made, as far as I can tell.

I have the CS 70 and I am not happy with it. The miter fence sucks. The t-track on the machine is meant for use with festool clamps only and is not receptive to the use of third party t-track/miter slot parts such as incra's sliding miter bars with which you can build a precision sled. So, at it's best, I still think the CS 70 is not very good. For me, the table saw, the router table and the jointer/thicknesser are the most important tools in the wood shop. Get the best you possibly can of each and be done with it once and for all.
