Actual Domino Sizes

Hey all, I want a Domino machine someday, but just getting started with wood working so I have other tools to purchase right now.  However, I have a workbench I'm building and it needs a few loose tenon joints.  I don't have a planer/router table to make my own tenons, so I was thinking of using some 5x30 dominos and cut the mortise with a 5mm upcut spiral bit.  The question:  Are 5mm dominos really 5mm x 19mm x 30mm (exactly)? (Similar question, do 5mm domino cutters actually cut an exactly 5mm slot?)

No. The dominoes are a little shorter (28mm?). I don't have the dominoes with me to measure. Someone else may be to help here. The mortises are, however, cut to 30mm deep, to provide a glue reservoir effect.
