Hello All;
    One of my most used festools is the CT Mini, From dust collection on the tools to just cleaning up. My Wife has a brand name vac for the carpets and other floors. I have noticed for a while that one of the attachments has gravitated to my area..Namely an air powered small step attachment. Needless to say I latched onto it.
    I had to alter one of my pickup tubes. I cut it down to the point where it just started on the vacuum head, then held the tube end in a pan of boiling water to soften. After 2 to 4 min. in the water I ramed it home on the vacuum head.
  I tell you this thing is awesome. I did the stairs in our house,no problem,then did my truck. This thing is totally awesome.
  Please see the attached picture.
  I am not to be held responsible if these vacuum heads start disappearing worldwide.

Nice, I think the wife has one of those in the closet, may have to give it a try [wink]

I have said for a while that if festool made a powerhead for their vacuums that many would be stolen by the housekeeper in the family. I always hate when an in-house project is completed and my ct has to go back to the garage. While it is inside I do all the vacuuming with it (hard floors). I am on the lookout for a powerhead from a used vac (rainbow or such) to keep in the house.  CT's are a lot cheaper than kirbys.  Festool would just need a salesman to do in-house demos!

Nice one, my wife has had one of these attachments that came with the cleaner five years ago and has never been used, gonna give it a try.

Also have one of those. Ill have to give it a try one of these days...

Funny that vacuum attachment shows up on the FOG this week. I dodged a major bullet this week with my dyson dying and my midi almost becoming my house vac till further notice. Ended up just being the cord an easy fix but i was worried for a minute. I have bern more thinking of adding another CT to the stable than taking one away ;)

I've used the turbo brush from my wifes miele vac (with permission of course) for various cleanup tasks it slips right on a 27mm hose
