Adjust TS55 & TS75 to same placement on track?

The issue is this: my TS75 has always cut the zero clearance strip more than my TS55. The result is that the TS75 cuts on the strip perfectly, but the TS55 is 1-1.5mm to the right, or away from, the strip. Very annoying. If anyone tells me I need different rails setup for the two says, go take a long walk off a short pier.

Can either saw be adjusted laterally so as to match the two saw's blades to the same cutting path on the tracks?

It’s been this way since the TS75 was produced. Don’t know why Festool thought it was a good idea to produce saws that cut different distances from the spine but you can adjust them to cut the same. I just dont remember if you can get all the adjustment you need by adjusting only the 75 but I’d try that first.

It might be a little difficult because there are plastic parts that take an impression from the mating metal parts and you need to retighten just slightly off the existing embossed pattern. And you’ll need to readjust for 90* etc.

The TS-55 supplemental manual has instructions that apply to both saws.

I had to do the same thing when I got my TS55....I already had the TS75 first.
I ended up setting the 75 to match the 55 as I tend to use that more often. I ended up just removing the anti splinter strip, moving it over a couple of mm, cutting it with the 55 and then setting the 75 to suit.

Pretty straightforward to be honest....

All the saws can be tweeked to cut the same offset to the rails. I have a 55, 75, TSC 55 and HKC, all cut exactly 3mm fron the aliminum rail edge.
