Hello there not wishing to appear tight but I use mafell extractors and there hoses however I need a new 36mm hose and it’s around £150 . Having now purchased the brilliant dirt deputy cyclone I dont need to have the mafell bayonet fitting as the hose goes directly into the cyclone hence now thinking of an alternative hose …
So I looked around and there are a lot of 3rd party hoses around I was wondering weather anyone here has any recommendations.. to be fair to mafell my existing hoses have lasted well over 7 years plus .

I have been happy with my cen-tec hose.  I use several different brands of tools and they have adaptors that snap on/off easily so no matter what tool Im using there is an adaptor that fits and doesnt require a bunch of adaptors etc.

Festool's hoses are about $130.00 and I was too cheap to buy that for my saw (hooked to shop dust collection).  I bought a Bosch version for $50.00 from Amazon.com.

And this version comes with a bunch of adapters.  They don't mention Mafell however.  You will have to query.

I covered mine with the sleeving.  Would match the Mafell well.  What is pictured is the Cen-tec hose.  They are a good company too.  I ordered a part off Amazon and didn't receive something I thought I was going too.  The Amazon description was vague and a little misleading.  I notified them so they could correct the Amazon page.  They wanted to send me the part in question but I refused and had already bought it in a separate order.  However, they were very willing to make it right which goes a long ways with me. I posted before but the centec hose is identical that came with my fein turbo ( I dont even want to try and calculate how long ago that was but its in decades) I would bet most of these hoses come from the same place.

Im still planning on getting a festool hose but the centec has served me very well.

I'll second [member=74278]Packard[/member] and [member=73094]afish[/member] . My CenTec hose (from Amazon) has been excellent.

Another tip is with the cen-tec its typically only a few bucks more for a 30 footer and the hose is easy to cut or shorten.  So you can make additional/custom length hoses by just buying additional adaptors/ends. You can buy individual parts or whole kits on their website here so if there is a particular size adaptor you know you need for a second or dedicated tool they are like 8 bucks each. cheap way to get additional hoses cheap.
You can also buy bulk hose if needed and make your own.  If you dont see it or have questions just ask them based on my experience they are very happy to help.  I have a dedicated hose for my DDF40 dowel station and one for my CT plus I have some extra I am going to dedicate to the CNC for sucking up around it.
