Alternative to an MFT/3 table; Bench for Festool/power tools; any suggestions?

Take a look at the tables and beams, really tortion boxes, in the latest Fine Woodworking Tools and Shops on the newstand now.  I find them to be very useful, cheap and easy to make and store and if needed transport...  and they work well with the Festool system and you can even put the holes in the table tops like a MFT if you like.
