Alumafin?

I saw a video posted at lumberyard for a multiply type plywood with a toayer of brushed aluminum. Called Alumafin, I believe. I am looking to make some shop table surfaces and a router table. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Suitable for this use? Durable?

I think I'd rather just use Baltic birch and blow off the aluminum layer which is just cosmetic as I see it.
