Hey guys,
I think I should add something about central euro.
Talking about Germany and Austria there is one thing you can say in general:
The number of furniture's - made of solid wood - increases from northern Germany to Austria.
Especially in south Germany and in Austria build-ins are more common. In northern Germany
the build-ins for private homes drop to about 10% (if Austria and south G would be 100%).
Another point are materials. As I mentioned there is a quite big use of solid wood in the south (or veneered shipboards).
The northern area uses more melamine shipboards (also veneered ones) and lacquered MDF.
... so this is more a material view... I don't thing that there are great differences between ways of building/constructing in euro..
