Hi ,

Is there an angle unit for the MFK-700; (Similar to the Bosch colt installers kit.) I'm planning to add the MFK-700 to my tools arsenal, but saw a video of a spanish tool trader where they are using a trimmer on an angle of 45° to round the inside corner on a solid surface countertop.  The posibility to rout at an alge is definetely a must on my list of jobs in the near future. If there is an attachment for the MFK-700 to do this than I'm sold. (no disrespect to the bosch colt kit)

I discussed this application with someone from Festool a few years ago. Basically, they could produce a 45 degree base for the MFK700 that turns it into a cove router. But I was told that whilst it was probably possible, they didn't feel there would be enough demand for it. The main market for cove routers is professional solid surface fabricators, and Betterley have that market pretty much sewn up with their bigger machines.

I'm guessing that the Spanish tool company you saw was Virutex?
