My version of MFT assembly table - 4x8. I wanted a full sized assembly, clamping and cutting station, that we could fold fully and pull in the car.
Welded steel frame from electrical strut, pipe and steel square tube.

Could not find a UK store to purchase RUWI jigs/bits, so created a few myself.

Final task is to build clamping struts similar to one of the pictures below. That I can use to clamp on the table, fold and keep it against the wall.

Works well so far.

Very nice table ... I really like the Ruwi products and especially the clamping dogs.  I tried to find them in the US, but no luck.  I designed my lifting table build similar to the Ruwi system and have an idea for a similar clamping dog I just had drawn up.  Looks like yours work good.

thanks :)

the idea was to keep it lightweight in many aspects. feel, footprint, weight etc. I also use it to lift up panels to my sliding table saw. has made life easy.

The clamps are temporary until I can figure a way to purchase the RUWI clamps in the US. But the ones I made only follow the style, they are a small improvement (at least I think  :) ) to help with clamping, positioning etc. I also converted the Rockler quick clamp to work on the 20mm holes using the same design.
