Updated my custom built vacuum clamping system with a better clamping mechanism. all the parts are from Joe Woodworker who is great to deal with.

Looks like a great clamp head.  Is that sold as a unit?  Doubt the mounting arm you have is so FESup, where did that come from?  Very interesting.  I have some pod clamps that are useful, but a clamp head like that would be more useful.

Is that an A/C vacuum pump?

It almost looks like a custom style?

Tom

EDIT:
Can I ask where you sourced the foot valve?

Great looking setup.  I have been waiting to see someone use the turning head.  Would love to see and hear more details.

Thanks guys. I have had this setup for a few years now - I just updated the clamping heads to a better design.

Fully custom built using parts that I sourced from reid supply and joe woodworker including the vacuum pump. I got the cheapo tool box form HD. Hoping to move the pump setup to a systainer if I can get a used one cheap.

Will post more details pictures later tonite.

I think that foot switch is an electrical type that shuts power to the vacuum pump off. I did find this other foot switch at joe woodworker. Too bad I did not find it sooner. It looks a little more compact than the one I have and less expensive.
