Any similar palm-size belt sander (120V) available in N.A.?

Doesn't Porter-Cable have a small palm one? I guess they pulled it from market.

Ya, that one was pulled 5-6 years ago, too bad because it is the perfect fit for certain applications. The only issue is that it does get quite warm so leather gloves are helpful. It draws 5 amps so it's no wonder it gets hot.  [smile]

I have that little PC sander (Armadillo), I don't use it often but it is a great little sander.  Much like the PC7518, I think they did not sell enough despite being great tools.  ** I have two of the 7518s, one in my router table...looking to sell the other.**

I guess I better hold onto it then - and stock up on the limited supplies of sandpaper.

Ya I think that would be advisable... [smile]...the local Woodcraft carries a nice collection of belts for the little PC so there may be more owners out there than we think.  [blink]  Mirka makes some Abranet belts for the 371.

For years I've been looking for a non-woven web (Scotchbrite) belt for the little sander to impart straight-line finishes on stainless & aluminum parts.

I used to stock up on belts but it seems the joints fail faster as the belt ages.

I have the little pc belt sander and also a little pc abrasive plane they made about 40 years ago. At that time they had been selling a small one handed electric plane and they swapped the cutter head for a drum to hold abrasive cylinders. Not thought was given to dust collection back then.
